About garbage in Montenegro
Herceg Novi, Montenegro. You can find some garbage recycling possibilities out there.
There are many regular containers. Every 200 meters or so. Some kind of a communal organisation called “Cistoca” is taking care of the garbage around the town. Often you can find a special cell for the paper products nearby.
I don’t know what those timeframes mean, but sometimes there is a paper inside.
There is a place near the traffic light in Topla with two underground bins. One of them is supposed to contain plastic, paper and metal.
Another one is for mixed organic stuff. They call it something like a wet fraction.
In reality there is just a garbage inside the organic one.
But isn’t it a great idea? I've seen containers for organic matter in Austria. And heard that in Germany they have them too. Probably it is more common in Europe. But to see it in Balkans..
Overall I’m pleased with the ability to drop some garbage in a small bin or a big container nearby. Because so often we don’t even have this opportunity.
