Important meeting

Important meeting

Once upon a time. There was a big gathering of important people. The brightest minds and businessmen of our world. And a head of a committee stepped on the stage:

— Dear fellows, we are facing a huge crisis. The temperature is rising. We won't be able to keep up in 50 years. There is going to be a food crisis. The money will loose its value. So our children will suffer. I can not imagine struggling to survive. Making my own food and building my house. There are people on this planet who are better in doing this. And I'm better at telling them what to do. I really love them since they supported and provided me along the way to where I am now. I'm quite sure many of you out there are in the same position. But those people have no idea whats coming. And it will be the result of our own actions. Therefore it is our responsibility to save them. We should fix this.

— Thats right, I have enough money for generations of my family. But my passion is to help everybody. I've been leading my corporation for many years. And I want to keep it going. If the money loose its value, then my children are going to be stuck. There is no good life without money. I want a better future.

— Yes. I've been investing peoples resources and money to get more money. Then I was donating to the poor. So everybody would have some money. And I want to keep it going.

— Hey, I've been stealing money from people and accumulating for my family. I don't care about population. Just a bunch of sheep. But it would be a disaster to loose my position.

— This issue is such an important thing. I want everybody out there at the gathering to buy my new book. It is exactly about the topic we are discussing today.

— I'm just a professor at the university. And someone asked me to provide some numbers. So here we go. The amount of emissions will raise from A to B. X amount of people will likely die out of starving. Risk of the anarchy is going to be Y. My wife will loose a job. Our university will be useless. People will loose education. Risk of returning to the Middle Age is Z. My son going to be ignoramus. It's a tragedy.

— I'm a messenger of god. Our church is helping people to see the truth in life. If money loose its value, we don't care that much. But we also want to make sure that everybody is happy and safe. So we want to help them in the name of god whatever happens.

— I'm a banker. I don't want to loose my money.

— I'm a creditor. We want to make sure everybody gets what they need right now. Like a coffee in the supermarket or a car. They don't need to pay anything. Just a small fee in the long run, so we can both survive. But if the crisis comes, we will not be able to provide people with what they need. It's pretty sad.

— I'm a head of communications providers committee. We've already communicated about the issue with the governments and banks. Everybody wants to identify citizens in a simple and easy way. In some countries we charge as low as a minimum wage of other countries for a sim card. If the crisis happens, it will make our business upside down. So we'll have to charge the opposite. But no one will be able to pay that much. It's a struggle. I'm not sure how to resolve this.

— I'm a politician. I'm serving people by translating their will to the government. If such a thing happens, I loose my job. My friends will suffer. People will not believe in us anymore. So whats the point of life.

— I'm a director of a fish corporation. We struggle to use antibiotics to make our production efficient. Without money people will stop buying our fish, and they'll have to do fishing by themselves. I like fishing, but I like to catch a million fish at a time. It is a disaster for our future.

— I'm a health care corporation. We want to make sure that people buy enough pills to keep going while they work in our economy. We help everybody to alleviate their suffering symptoms. And make sure they can always come to us in the future, so we can help them. People are going to die without us. Anyone has a prescription?

— I'm a food corp head. We modify tomatoes to provide the population with the healthy and good looking vegetables. People don't like ugly vegetables so we want to help them. We paint meat in red. And also picking green bananas to make sure they are ready by the time the kids come to the store. We have to use pesticides to keep our massive production safe. Little bit of conservants here and there to make sure supermarkets can store it long enough. And people can enjoy the food while eating. We feed the chicken only with the necessary food so they can produce nice looking eggs of the same color and size. Polishing the rice until it is good. And many other things we do. Like using a specific soil. To make sure everything is good, outside and inside. Nice and perfect. We keep the high standard. It is the best way to feed the people. At the same time a lot of people must be fed. So we're trying to make our production effective. We need massive energy to keep it going. I admit it might be a factor in pollution. But definitely not that big. More importantly, it's a balance we have to keep. Let's be real, my friends, people want to eat right now. The sacred craft of the food production is in danger. I honestly urge everybody to find a solution for a coming crisis.

— Alright my friends. Enough is enough. I think it is obvious that we should make a plan to save the world and implement it. We should gather our money and make sure the global economy is going according to our plan. Let's make a credit system, and punish everybody who contributes to the global warming. So we'll be in control. Which company is good for the society and which one is bad. It's our responsibility. We should make sure people keep their jobs, children are going to schools, elderly are safe and let the holy economy to function. It would be such a misery going struggling with the own land trying to educate ourselves. Trying to grow a food and live like a cave men. There is absolutely no happiness in such a life. Been there hundred years ago. People are not ready to take such a responsibility. And we have enough money to provide them with the solution. So let's do our duty.
