Tax system substitution idea

Here is a thought experiment. A blockchain based system which effectively substitutes any of the current taxation systems.

It allows any person or company, who are willing to contribute to any society to create an account in the system. In a way that any participant of the system can easily find them and see their public purpose statement.

It allows any person or company to provide donations to the above contributors with the digital money at will. Directly without a 3d party. Transactions on the system are based on smart contracts.

The system maintenance contract is not controlled by anyone. It can be topped by contributors at will, in order to provide a domain and all the necessary infrastructure via smart contracts.

The system tends to be provider agnostic, including underlying blockchain and any related infrastructure. It can migrate easily while protecting its function and participants. It is completely transparent and open sourced with the development organised with public contributions.

Example use case:

A person living in a certain area notices that roads around their place became too bad. They enter the system and find a road construction company in the area. The person can see their exact balance of donations and location. The person visits the company and inspects their legitimacy, talks to the people involved. The person decides to support the company by making a donation through the system. The company scales its operations in the area.
